I don’t know what it is about dogs and humans that makes them work so well together but there is definitely something. A good dog will let it’s human owner mess with him day in and day out without question. I used to have a weiner dog named Whiskey a few years ago. I used to put a sock over his face and then watch him run into furniture. My brother and I also used to play a game called “Find Whiskey Before He Runs Out of Air.” The premise was simple. One of us would hide the dog somewhere where he would have a limited air supply, and the other would have to find him. Our house isn’t that big so Whiskey never suffocated.
Despite our torment, he still loved us. And we loved him more than anything. It’s a shame he wasn’t car-proof.
